ME-HAD (COST Action BM1202)

Are you interested in performing cutting edge research leading to tangible results and products in an industrial environment?

Within the framework of the European COST network on Microvesicles and Exosomes in Health and Disease (ME-HAD) we offer the opportunity to participate in projects addressing the scale-up production of microvesicles and exosomes derived from human stem cells and the evaluation of their therapeutical use. The work will be carried out in one of Lonza’s innovation R&D teams focused on human adult stem cells located in Cologne/Germany.

We are looking for experienced researchers interested in a 2 year post-doc position funded by a Marie Curie fellowship (IEF). He or she is interested in interacting with an international team and in communicating with our scientific/industrial collaborators. The candidate is asked to write a Marie Curie proposal in collaboration with us. A PhD or at least four years of full-time equivalent experience in the aforementioned research area is required for such an application as well as multiple peerreviewed publications in leading professional journals.

The deadline for applications to Lonza is June 30th, 2013; the deadline for submission of the IEF application itself is August 14th, 2013. Further information on Intra-European Fellowships for career development is available here.
